We understand that navigating insurance and rates can sometimes feel overwhelming, and we are here to make this process as smooth as possible.

Flexible Payment and Insurance Options

Counseling Rates & Cash Payments

For clients who do not use in-network or out-of-network insurance services, we offer transparent cash rates. By opting to pay cash, there is no formal diagnosis or set number of sessions on file, allowing for a more personalized approach to your child’s care.

  • Initial Assessment – $200 (1 hour)
  • Individual/Family Session – $150 (50-55 minutes)
  • Attend IEP Meetings – $150 per hour
  • Group Sessions – Varies by group

Opting for cash payments offers greater flexibility and confidentiality. This option lets us tailor our sessions to your specific needs without insurance constraints. We aim to provide high-quality care that respects your unique circumstances.

Insurance Rates

We strive to make our services accessible and convenient for all our clients. To that end, we are pleased to be in-network with several major insurance providers. We accept the contracted rate for each of the following insurance plans:

In-Network Insurance Providers

  • BlueCross BlueShield PPO
  • Aetna PPO
  • Cigna

As a courtesy, we verify your insurance benefits before confirming your appointment to ensure you understand your coverage. If we do not accept your insurance, you may still be able to use your Out-of-Network benefits to see us. For any questions or assistance with your insurance and payment options, please contact us.

No-Show & Late Cancellation Policy

At Davis-Smith Mental Health, we dedicate time specifically for each of our clients. When an appointment is canceled, it allows us to offer that time slot to another individual who needs our support. Short-notice cancellations or no-shows prevent other clients from accessing timely care.

To reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify our admin at least 24 hours in advance. If an appointment is canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice or if you do not show up, a full session fee ($100 currently, increasing to $150 in 2025) will be charged. Insurance does not cover fees for missed appointments or late cancellations, so the cost will be your responsibility. The credit card on file will be charged for these occurrences within 24 hours of the scheduled session time.
